Beer and Skittles has been an essential part of our Club Diary for many years.
Apart from the Covid disruption and last year, it has always been a very popular, enjoyable and well supported annual club event. If you go into the Club Website cover page this opening Photo was taken at a past Beer and Skittles trip.
For those not familiar with the plan it works like this:
Almost nobody knows where we are going. But it will be a carefully selected hostelry with a Skittle Alley, serving good food and drink.
We board the coach at 9.00am and head off on our mystery day out, with a 30 minute stop en-route for refreshments and facilities.
Upon reaching our destination the bar will be ready and waiting.
We have a light hearted game of skittles
before we partake of our hot self service buffet lunch and dessert.
Time permitting we have another game of skittles before boarding the coach for our return journey with a stop for afternoon refreshments and facilities.
We usually get back to Beaconsfield at about 6.00pm. As with all Social Events our ladies are very welcome, indeed expected, to join in the fun.
This year we are venturing forth into the unknown on Wednesday August 7th from Windsor End leaving at 9.00am.
The cost is just £40.00 each including Coach, Buffet Lunch and refreshments en-route.
