Althorp, just outside Northampton, has been home to the Spencer family since 1508. Many members of the family have been prominent in British history and politics and of these possibly the best known is Lady Diana Spencer who is buried on an island in the estate’s lake.
We will travel by coach to a pub near the House where we will have a two course ( main and dessert) lunch and then travel the short distance to Althorp.
After the visit we will leave late afternoon aiming to be back in Beaconsfield around 6pm.
Pickup 9.45am at Waitrose and 10.00am in Windsor End opposite the Greyhound.
Cost is £43 to include transport, lunch and entry to the House.
